Born with a Mutation that gave them wings would make a person special right? Not in Paragon City, where super heroes are literally aorund every corner. Alyssa was just a freak with wings that couldn't even let her fly. That was until walking home from Highschool one evening, she usually stayed late and used alley ways to get home to avoid the stares. She came across a PPD officer but not just any Officer, this was one of the Acended Divison of the PPD. A highly decorated officer that had volunteered and was fused with a energy being known as a Kheldian. The Officer was severly injured and bleeding, He mistakenly saw Alyssa as a registered hero due to the wings sprouting on her back. He begged her to call for help and to hold his hand while they waited. She quickly dialed 9-1-1 and knelt beside him to keep him company. The Officer told her that if he died, Illanus, his Kheldian would die soon afterwards unless he found a host. The EMTs did not make it in time. Only they know what happened in that alley.
