Character Bio

The Council grabbed 14 year old Rachel, an orphen of the Rikti War living on the streets of King's Row to be used by the Nictus to recover from thier trip to Earth for more then a year. Until she met Dirge of Sorrow, an old Nictus warrior who had grown jaded of the path his people followed. The warrior found himself in the body of a young girl with no family, no home and no prospects outside of being a rest stop for his kind. And yet she still fought him, weakly and ineffectivly, but fought him none-the-less. Dirge of Sorrow began talking to the girl and an idea formed between the two. She wanted her freedom back and he desired to have a real purpose in life.Both agreed that the Council would not give them either. And so Rachel and Dirge of Sorrow fully melded. The Council treated the Warshade like the Nictus they thought she was and, after a few days to recover the strength of her body, Nightrayn just walked out of the base and into the life of a hero.
