Power can simply be translated down into energy throughput - the more energy that is converted every second, the higher power output you get. At least, that is what this once seemingly weak lab assistant had in mind when he designed his own fast lane to power. While strapping highly radioactive material to ones back would deter most people, he just designed a body that could take - and convert - that energy for his own means.
