Aleera Ravyn is from a race known in her native tongue as God's People. She was brought to Paragon City some time ago through a rift in her world created by a Rikti portal. Alone, and apart from her kin, she tried to fit in as one of Earth's ordinary people - but her odd white eyes and unplaceable accent betray her as anything but ordinary. Like most of her people, Aleera is able to focus and control some of the natural forces that God created to keep the earth and the heavens in balance.

Found out of place on Earth by the Legion of Valor, without the ability to speak any language on Earth, she was trained in the way of the hero by some of Paragon's best. She took the name Ravyn Storm to use her gift of weather control to help bring God's peace to such a chaotic place, with the hope that someday she may return home.
