Character Bio

Jord grew and came of age deep in the forests of the north country, alone but for the animals, plants and trees. She has no memory of human parents and never feared being on her own where most humans would shudder at the depth and darkness of her home.

Jord's unusual abilities became known to her when she was very young. A timber wolf was threatening a lone brown bear cub whose mother was killed by a hunter. In her desperation to save the cub she found herself begging the underbrush to hold the wolf in place. Her shock when the plants obeyed her wish was complete. From that point on she began to hone her skills and discover new abilities.

As humans began to infringe on the edges of her home she observed them, learning their habits and behaviors. After years of watching, Jord decided that as in nature, there is a balance in the human world that must be kept. She chose to use her unique abilities to help those in need and do her best to fight the evil that threatened to tip the scales.
