Character Bio

Somewhere in the galaxy, a species achieved sapience. What that species looked like, and even what that species might have called itself, is now beyond the memory of any living being, for they were hosts to another lifeform during millennia. None remain now who can recall when the hivemind beings called Ogurn became a part of their lives, blended their identity with its own, and then ... vanished.

Scattered and perilously close to extinction, these protean beings struggled to remember themselves, eventually taking on the term xvarbajn, a word in their lingua franca meaning 'abandoned,' as their new name. It was about this time that an enclave of them came into contact with the Alliance, who kindly took them in.

Kematki is a member of a small group recovered later. He was immediately drawn to the organization's goals of exploration and cultural study; his insightful examination of Earth's cultures has been a boon to the contact team, as well as both his easy humor and burgeoning combat ability.
