It was a 1 in a million chance that happened. Who cast the spell, or for what purpose is unknown. It was speculated that the spell interacted with some experimental technology and the two energy fields mixed. Either way, the mystically embodied artificial intelligence calling herself the Sourceress was found by Primal Labs wandering the ruined streets of Galaxy city by investigators from Priam Labs and taken there for study and education.
