Character Bio

Child of an unwed 'hillbilly' mother, Gloria "Glory" Steiner grew up extremely petite.  She was a world-class gymnast, until puberty filled her out, but she continued as a cheerleader and won a scholarship.  In college, she experienced a period of mental and emotional instability and was expelled.
Unable to control the wild energies rushing through her, she fled to the high hills, to see her old Granny.
Granny Steiner revealed Glory's true origins ? not a 'bastard child', but a true 'child of the hills' ? her father was an ancient spirit of the mountains.
Journeying alone into the wilderness, she found her parent, a grim, elemental being, a terrifying force of nature. He sent her 'Fairy Godfather' to train her in controlling the energies that she was heir to.
In the end, firmly grounded and with a strong grasp on her powers, Glory transferred her studies to Paragon University and registered as a hero
