Character Bio

Animi was just your above-average college grad student, working on his doctoral thesis. Nothing special about him at all, until, while working on an experiment to determine the function of a certain genome, somthing went terribly wrong.
A nearby experiment dealing with a Higgs Boson particle interacted with a nearby particle accelerator. The ensueing destruction altered his genetic structure. He soon lost his arms and legs, and was forced to supplement many of his vital functions with cybernetics. His tailbone elongated and sprouted fur.
But what he lost in physical capacity, he gained in intellectual capacity. His neural kinetics accelerated to levels far beyond the limits of the human mind, and he began to understand how to manipulate the world around him telepathically. He found himself constantly inventing new devices, and a new purpose: to protect those even less fortunate than himself.
