Character Bio

Lexi Montoya was born different than most, but the same to a few. She had mutant superpowers. She was able to control ice at a whim, and by 16, had the makings of a hero. But instead of joining Paragon's brightly clad protectors, she decided to be a different kind of hero.

At 18, she joined the Army. She served in the Metahuman Branch, and was stationed in the Middle East. 3 years into her 4 year service, terrorists attacked the base she was stationed at. While the attack was repelled, Lexi was very severly injured by an explosion. She clung to life as medics saved her.

She was sent home to recover, which she did...mostly. She never could regain all of her power over ice. She regained a small amount of it, but it is only a fraction of what she had before. The Army moved her to the Reserve, and gave her some pistol training.

She still wanted to fight for her beliefs, so she joined PPD. Working with heroes is a difficult reminder of what she lost, but she is determined to make a difference anyway.
