Character Bio

Renowned physicist Stephen Blythe was dying from cancer. As his final days marched on, all that kept him sane was his work. The military had contracted him to study an object discovered by a space shuttle crew on a routine mission. It appeared to be a cloud of negative particles that absorbed any energy it was exposed to, even light. No one could explain how the particles stayed together despite all efforts to separate them.

One night Stephen found out how. He was working late when a voice spoke to him: "I can save you from your sickness, but there is a cost. We must become one." Stunned, Stephen realized the voice was coming from the particle cloud. The military had unknowingly captured an unbound Kheldian. Wordlessly, Blythe entered the code to drop the containment field. And then the Human Stephen Blythe and Kheldian Event Horizon merged into a single being, the Warshade Starless Knight.
