((RP)) "You may call me Samuel Tanner, if you must call me something.  I am here on...a business matter, shall we say, although my normal duties do not take me to the realm of the living.

"As for what I am...I am not a demon; how very crude.  Nor am I an angel; that is such an obsolete, human notion, and far too simplistic for what I truly am.  I suppose your kind would see me as a guardian of the dead and a gatherer of souls, although that, too, is a very simplistic, human assessment.  Regardless of who and what I am, although my purpose does not concern you, I shall consent to work with you, for now, if it shall ultimately serve my goals.
