Character Bio

Lavanna had been a hero of Paragon for a while. She was skilled with magic, using it to blast away enemies and darkness alike with beams of bright energy. She had a lot of promise, with many eyes on her both in admiration and in frustration, depending on who was doing the looking. Some heroes avoided her, saying that her powers that sent enemies flying would make it difficult for them to do their job.

For the most part, though, she was well liked. All was going well, until she had one run-in too many with the Circle. A base she went to investigate was occupied by a powerful Archmage who captured her. She was later rescued, but not before the mage put a powerful curse on her. Her light powers turned to dark, and her once-bright personality turned grim.

She faded from the attention of the city, taking some alone time as she struggled to keep a shred of her old self. It has been 6 months since her rescue, and now she has returned, trying to master her new powers and make the best of a bad situation.
