Character Bio

Raye Tyrakar was born in the Shadow Shard over 26 years ago, less than a year after "the breaking of the world". He came to Paragon City as one of the many "refugees" found there, but unlike the other humans of the Shard, he had some rather uncanny powers that set him apart. Even while in Paragon, it seemed a part of him still dwelt in the Shard, and he was able to bring forth energies from that realm (usually with a good deal of force) just by concentrating. Aside from causing considerable damage, he also had the ability to protect himself, as well as healing those around him, even occasionally bringing them back from unconsciousness. His recent journeys back into the Shard have caused him to wonder about the nature of his actual origin, but whatever the source of his abilities, he has always considered himself human, and uses his power to fight off the forces of Rularuu that threaten the people of the Shard.
