Character Bio

"Wayward Soul" is the English translation of the name of an immortal Middle Eastern
death spirit that can only manifest itself on the physical plane by possessing another
living being. The spirit became infatuated with the American vigilante Chromium
Man during the armored hero's brief tenure as a commando in the Middle East
during the second Gulf War. When CM grew jaded with the War on Terror,
Wayward Soul followed him back to America to try and get him to resume his
destructive ways. After the spirit possessed and subsequently killed one of CM's closest
friends in an attempt to get to him, CM formulated a plan to finally keep the
body-hopping demon in check. Wearing a highly experimental armor, CM
allowed the spirit to possess him. CM had tricked the spirit, however, as the armor was remote controlled and stripped of all weapon systems. Emblazoned with
protective sigils by Azuria, the armor now serves as a mystical prison for the
Wayward Soul.
