Character Bio

Rufus de Soto became Quantum Meltdown after an accident at the lab where he was working as an assistant to Professor Randall Redd gave him the ability to control radiation.
Rufus has worked alongside Bruce Williamson for some time, enduring the scrapper's jibes for not being "street" enough.
Rufus was originally known as Redd Meltdown but changed his code name when he discovered evidence that Professor Redd deliberately caused the accident that gave him his powers.
