My planet watched as the Rikti ships past our part of the galaxy heading towards Earth.  My people stood by while the Rikti attacked Earth. It was only a small handful of us willing to send help to Earth...

We had created a technology that allowed us to take a small amount of energy of a nearby white dwarf and give its energy to someone. I was the one that volunteered for the first use of the technology. It ended up being the only use of the technology as it malfunctioned took all the energy from the star and transferred it all to me...

The power was immense and overwhelming, but I quickly flew to Earth and fought alongside the warriors of Earth and helped in repelling the Rikti invasion. I stayed on Earth due to the inability to revert back to who I was before; the power was now a part of me that could not be separated from me by any means. I now fight to make sure the Rikti never again harm my new home.
