There are many worlds.

On Brittania Earth, the sun never set on the British Empire. A series of enlightened decisions ended colonial disputes favorably, and in time a web of alliances and trade agreements brought the entire world together behind British leadership. The resulting cooperation brought rapid advancements in medicine and science.

Even under the Pax Anglica, however, not all was perfect. There were always
malcontents, troublemakers, and villains. The Order of the Paragon was formed to deal with these problems. Knights chosen for their skill and resilience, the Order battled crime with great success for centuries.

The Pax Anglica ended when a lowly street gang, dabbling in the dark arts,
unleashed a terrible evil known only as the Blight. Only John Bligh, youngest of the Paragon, survived the initial clash. He fled through a Portal with his adopted
daughter. Now he hones his skills and gathers allies for the day when the Blight will fall.
