Character Bio

Can a god die?

Ages ago, before the Old Pantheon was banished, the goddess Naralu was among
them. She was unlike her kindred, seeing death as a path to rebirth. She argued
against their bloodythirsty ways--"All things die in time. We are immortal; can we not
wait?"

She was cast out for her choice, her followers hunted like beasts. Enraged, she sought
the goddess Tielekku, Mother of Magic, and promised her aid in battle against her
kin. The Pantheon was banished, but their vengeful followers purged all memory of
Naralu from the world.

Gods are immortal. That is a Great Truth, and like all Great Truths, its opposite is
another Great Truth: All things die. Naralu was on the brink of that final darkness
when Amy appeared. Fleeing servants of the Pantheon, she lost herself in the
darkness where Naralu lay dying. Determined to thwart her foes one last time,
Naralu infused the girl with the last of her power. Reborn as the avatar of a dead
goddess, Amy escaped and took the name Naramie.
