Character Bio

Caroline Fey was like most children growing up, except for her family. Her mother was a Demon Summoning Master and her father, a Circle of Thorn priest. The magic was strong in Caroline and her mother took advantage teaching her the Way of the Demon as her mother taught her, passed down maternally since time forgotten. Caroline grew strong learning everything taught to her and practiced incessantly. Though she could only handle a single summoning at the time, she surpassed her mother?s ability by comparison. Her maternal grandmother pointed this out to Caroline?s mother on Caroline?s naming day and promptly dismissed the subtle warning. Now known as Shadow's Maiden, she did not possess the heart or temperament of those who trained her. While her mother trained her talent, another influenced her heart, Desdemona. In Caroline, Desdemona saw herself. She led Shadow Maiden down another path, and with the help Statesman, Caroline escaped Rogue Isle and the Circle to start a new life leaving her past behind.
