Character Bio

A spirit of the earth, bound to a statue, as a guardian for a temple, she watched as millennia passed, but the temple was never attacked or plundered, it simply fell into ruin. The intact caryatid was salvaged and eventually installed in a small, faux temple/shrine, in a Paragon City Park. Amazingly, the masons knew just enough of the ancient ritual to re-activate and re-bind the caryatid to the new location ? even when performed in jest. Eventually, Hellion looter/thugs attacked and the caryatid was Free to Act! Carnage ensued.
Afterwards, no one knew what to do with the animate caryatid ? no one knew the rituals to de-animate her, nor to release her into whatever realm undifferentiated earth-spirits inhabit. Hero reps offered her all of Paragon City to be her milieu and the tiny temple provided all the home she needed. After millennia of immobility, she is free to move, free to act, free to dance in praise of Athena, Nike, and Artemis, free to hunt down the despoilers, wherever they may be.
