Character Bio

Gabriel Harris was visiting the lab of his father, renowned nucleo-genetic scientist Ellis Harris, creator of the DNA Resequencing Serum. During the visit, the lab was raided by soldiers of the crime cartel known as The Council, which had learned of Dr. Harris' top-secret work on an advanced version of Resequencing Serum - the Genome Fission Serum. The Council wanted it for their super-soldier program.At the time, Dr. Harris was in the middle of dangerous exothermic experiments involving radioactive plasma. The Council's attack set off a chain reaction that ended in a massive explosion. Gabriel and his father were critically injured. Ellis knew that his son?s only chance of survival was the untested Genome Fission Serum. Dr. Harris died just after injecting Gabriel with the only sample of the serum, transforming Gabriel into a living fission reactor. Gabriel learned to harness the energy produced within his body and release it in the form of powerful plasma bolts. Fission Phoenix was born!
