Amidst the sea of rumors and deliberate mis-information surrounding Operative Rahab, relatively few facts can be determined with any certainty. Before becoming an Arachnos operative, he was an agent of Mossad, the Israeli "Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations". He nearly lost his life in a botched mission (a joint operation with US and UK forces, he claims), and was forced by his extensive injuries to retire. Arachnos was able to offer him what his own government couldn't; the cybernetic repairs necessary to restore him to full mobility. It is a considerable testament to his skills that, as a defector from the Israeli Covert Intelligence community, he is still alive. It's just as impressive that Arachnos was willing to approve a nearly unlimited operating budget in order to secure his services. Officially, Rahab works under Captain Mako in an "advisory" capacity. Unofficially, only the Arbiters or Lord Recluse himself give Rahab orders.
