Three years ago, Paragon Chevaliers star center Nathan McNabb recieved a spine injury on the ice that ended his NHL career. A few weeks later, he vanished, with detailed instructions left to his attourney to sell his home and other property and distribute the money to various Children's Charities.

Six months ago, the sightings began... everywhere from the depths of the labyrinthine Paragon City Sewers to the bizarre skyscape of the Shadow Shard. Apparently recovered from his injuries... at least, judging by the way he fights... McNabb has declined to explain why he hasn't returned to the NHL, how he supports himself with all of his public properties auctioned off, where he learned swordplay, nothing. Well, one thing.

When asked where he obtained his sword, whether it was a magical relic, high tech prototype, or something even stranger, he replied simply "eBay".
