Like the humans of Praetoria the elves also fought the devouring earth and were nearly destroyed. Their hidden cities were all destroyed and 60% of them killed including their king who fought the Hamidon directly.Emperor Cole became aware of the elves during his fight with the Hamidon. After his victory he visited the elves to invite them to join him. Unsure of his intentions and ever mistrustful of humans the elves debated.Ashra', a member of the royal family and trained in combat like all elves are, is determined not to see her people perish. Not liking the options but realizing there was only one course of action she came to Nova Praetoria and joined with the loyalist as an example to her people.
