Character Bio

SAN FRANCISCO, July 8. 1881 -- Thomas Harper, a cowboy, was hanged at Tucson, Arizona Territory for the murder of John Tolliday last September. His demeanor on the scaffold was cool and jaunty. Two years prior to his hanging, Thomas Harper had witnessed a ghost herd of demonic cattle plowing through the sky. The herd was being chased by cursed cowboys or ghost riders. One of the ghost riders had warned him to change his ways or he would be condemned to herd demons for all eternity.  He did not listen, and here is his soul, herding demons for all time.
