From the moment of his birth, Alvin Smith?s parents knew there was something special about him. Months later, his DNA revealed he carried twice as many strands as a normal human. Realizing her worst fears, his mom confessed of the exposure to high amounts of gamma radiation while employed by Crey Medical Labs before she knew of her pregnancy. Crey?s CEO promised to help her new born. Over the next two decades, Crey tested, monitored, and experimented on Alvin. Alvin endured the test by pushing his body to its limits and beyond earning the nickname ?Mighty Munchkin.? He soon discovered his ability to turn his skin as hard as stone. Likewise, his strength seemed limitless. Crey scientists sent their infamous Protectors for his DNA. Alvin drew on his power of stone, grabbed road sign, and laid waste to the Protectors. After escaping, he found himself running for his life until Backyard Brawler saved him from his pursuers. Reportedly, Crey killed his family in retaliation vowing the same for Alvin.
