Character Bio

Scott Kent was born into the law. His father was a judge, as was his father before him. His mother was a District Attorney. His older brother and sister were both police officers, so it was no surprise that Scott entered the Police Academy when the time came. Scott graduated at the top of his Academy class, guarenteeing him any assignment that he wanted. It was a surprise when he sought out an assignment to the precinct in Bricks with jurisdiction over Venice, better known as "Crey's Folly." It was on his first patrol that he and his partner were called to an alarm in an abandoned warehouse. Inside, he and his partner surprised a Freak raiding party. During the shootout that ensued, a stray electric blast ruptured a tank of highly pressureized liquid latex. The geyser of volatile chemicals caught Scott and his partner full force. His partner was killed instantly, but Scott's latent mutant factor saved him by absorbing the properties of the chemicals, literally converting his body into living rubber.
