Character Bio

Hewn from pure Onyx, and armored with purest iron, it was made to stand vigilant over an artifact of ancient power. The wards placed upon it would give it life, should a theif or vagrant seek the crystal the Onyx sentinal stood over. But the secret was safe; for years upon years, eons, he stood silent over the ancient stone he guarded. In that time, the artifact's true nature called to him...the might of mignight dwelt inside it, longing to be free.

How long had he stood guard? His place-his duty-was meaningless. the stone was safe. A whole world was outside, freeedom. All he had to do was hold the stone, accept its power, and place it back again. It would be safe, and he would no longer be bound to his dusty hall.

He took it, and the power took him. He would have a name, and roam the world. His own master, he could see all he desired. There was both joy and fury in his release. How long had he been captive? Anything that would bind him again would be crushed.
