(Remake of my first, way back when...)
"What do you mean, discharged? What's wrong with me?" Bill looked at the doctor who was in charge of his case. "There was something in that compound, wasn't there. Something you're not telling me.... Why can't I remember?"
He was rushed out, given a generous pension, and told he couldn't be informed of anything - highest security clearance.
He found out what was "new" with him a bit at a time...
