Character Bio

Years ago, during his early years as a clumsy officer in Chicago, Peter Simmons started reading minds involuntarily. Unable to control it properly, he was given advice to meet other psychic-powered humans in Paragon City.

During his training period in the PPD Psi-Division, he was not on par with most officers, who were always stronger and more skillful. However, his trainers noticed that, under certain situations, he was able to unleash enormeous amounts of psychic power -- depending on his own emotional state when facing a threat.

Realizing that conventional training would not make those situations happen at all due to the lack of real danger on them, he was turned into a Hero as a part of a more specific training program. Controversial enough, by facing dangerous threats and protecting his own life, he was able to unlock his full potential more often.
