Character Bio

My family's Army through and through; my father, both grandfathers, most of our sisters and mothers, all soldiers. Heck, Dad used to tease me about disowning me if I joined the Marines. Naturally I signed up for the U.S. Army right out of high school, and wound up in a U.N. peacekeeping detachment -- the "blue berets." Some of the guys hated it, but I liked it; we did some real good out there.

We were in some middle-of-nowhere banana republic, making sure the local elections were fair, when Arachnos firebombed our barracks. (Turns out Lord Recluse wanted to be sure HIS candidate was the odds-on favorite.) And lucky me, some fruitcake Arachnos scientist managed to save my brain and put it into a robot body. He told me I was the first of a glorious new breed of super-soldiers for Lord Recluse. I said nuts to that, gave him a knuckle sandwich, and escaped back to the good old U.S. Now I've got a posting as a field operative for the FBSA.

Joke's on Dad, though: Looks like I wound up a jarhead after all.
