Character Bio

Amanda Tarsis is a Mesolithic Archaeologist with a particular fascination for the volcanic rock obsidian, and for the peoples who used it on a daily basis as the foundation of their toolkit. When excavating at an obsidian quarry on the shores of the Aegean, she fell through a hole into a vast obsidian cavern, and there, lit by the dying rays of the sun, she saw the largest, most darkly beautiful obsidian handaxe she had ever seen. She picked up the rock, and instantly the powers of the ancient gods of stone and of darkness filled her. She now hunts sacrifices to them, and those who are more worthy she does not kill instantly but takes back to that sacred cavern and cuts out their hearts with the Handaxe that granted her her powers.
