Character Bio

At 10 years old, Max Cole witnessed the murder of his parents by the Circle of Thorns while on a beach outing near Spanky's Wharf. Max was kidnapped and taken to the underground city of the CoT, Oranbega. There he was raised to be a member of the CoT, and trained in their ways. When he turned 18, Max was subjucated to an ancient CoT ritual to make him fully a member. Blinding him, the ritual opened inner mystical powers that CoT suspected that Max possessed. He was to be a new powerful force to help the Circle enslave the surface world. However, the ritual was interrupted by members of the Midnight Squad. The awakening of his new powers, coupled with the interruption brought back memories of his happy childhood with his parents. Rescued, Max, now calling himself The Dark Concealer, has vowed to use his abilities for good, no matter the costs.
