Character Bio

Flora Beadreux grew up in the marshlands of Louisiana. She loved to play with the fireflies and other creatures near the swamp. But her mother felt that all swamp creatures were evil, so she split her time and played with the plants too. One day, she overheard her mother discussing her secret voodoo spells. Flora feverishly wrote down all that she could remember from her mother's rant. Later, she attempted to cast a spell, but had failed to copy down the proper incantation. She found herself being dragged to the bottom of the swamp where she lay for 30 years, until the light of an eclipse fell upon the marsh. As the light hit the water, Flora rose, transformed into a mixture of flora and fauna -- a true ode to the swamp. With everyone in her former life dead, Flora was forced into a life of crime, but guilt eventually got the best of her. She moved from Louisiana to Paragon where she hopes to make a difference for humans, plants, and animals alike.
