Character Bio

Jeraldine Snare was born on the Bayou of Louisianna to a local woman, and a native of Haiti. When Jeraldine was a small girl, she stumbled on a ritual being conducted by her father, unbeknownst to her, a powerful Houngan. He was attempting to fuse the spirit of deceased Voodoo Queen, Marie Laveau, into his wife. Jeraldine's interuption caused the spirit to notice her, and the fledgling power she contained. Seeking a stronger host body, the spirit of Marie Laveau entered Jeraldine's body instead. This bonding awakened Jeraldine's Necromantical Powers. With guidance from her parents and her spiritual "sister", she has learned to tap into this power, as she grew to adulthood. Seeking further training, Jeraldine has made her way to Paragon City to seek the aid from the Midnight Squad, in controlling her powers even further, and to avoid a total domination by the spirit of Laveau.
