"And so it was that a certain Death Mage came into our Temple from the long-silent halls of Oranbega, asking for an audience with the Queen. We of the Court of the Dead did not know him, this ancient soul, and yet he spoke with such conviction that even the coldest of our hearts could not remain unmoved. It was a bride he sought, he said, and it was I that our Mistress chose to be his own.

Know that I went willingly to this task that I was given and that in time, if the dead may be allowed such things, I even came to love the one to whom I had been bound. Yet I could not remain with him... 'Redeem him,' the Queen had said to me, and I knew but one way her command might be fulfilled. By leaving his side. By drawing him out into the Living world to search for me. By showing him once more the sun-lit Life that he had forsaken so long ago... I only hope that he will forgive me when I am found."
