Character Bio

Eric Pendragon was born to a family of ancient mystics. His entire life, he believed he was descended from King Arthur Pendragon himself, and developed the attitude that accompanied such a belief. He was charming, and cultured, but tended to look down upon those he felt were beneath one of such a prestigious lineage, which soon included almost everyone.

When he graduated from college, Eric travelled to Britain, where he hoped to use his mystical knowledge to access the ancient magicks of the land, in the hopes of creating a new Camelot, one where he was king. He performed the ritual, and a spirit he believes was the Lady of the Lake appeared to him. However, instead of imbuing him with power, the spirit denounced his belief as a lie, and for his hubris, Eric was mystically stigmatized. The land of Britain abjures him, and he suffers searing pain should he ever step on British soil.

Humbled, Eric returned home, where his father told him the Pendragons are descended from ancient shamans.
