Character Bio

In Japanese lore, the yuki-onna was a spirit that inhabited within the blizzards of Japan. In legend, Yuki-onna reveals herself to travelers who find themselves trapped in snowstorms and uses her icy breath to leave them as frost-coated corpses. Its also a nick-name given to Yoshiko Kaname. Her powers manifested themselves quietly, and it wasn't long before others took notice that Yoshiko was constantly surrounded by a field of cold air. Even her skin is cold to the touch. She came to Paragon City to attend the university, but the attack of the Rikti forced her to change her plans. She now uses her powers to help protect the citizens and keep the streets clean of villainy.
