Character Bio

Edward Barton was a medic in the Paragon City Fire department. When the Rikti attacked the town of Baumton, Edward's unit was dispatched to help the wounded evacuate the area. Everything was going as well as it could, given the circumstances, before the unbelievable happened. The Rikti ship exploded, devastating the entire town. Edward was one of the few that survived, and he laid in a hospital in a coma for months. When he woke up, he found he had changed. Examinations showed that radiation from the ships power core had adverse effects on Edward, and combined with the life-saving medicine that had been given to him, gave him the ability to heal. Not only that, he was now able to use the radiation he had been exposed to. Being released from the hospital, he now uses his new found powers to once again help the people of Paragon City.
