Character Bio

Growing up in Paragon City gave Selena hopes of one day becoming a super hero herself. She would study the moves of the heroes with a critical eye, and try to imitate them, but she never could. At night, she'd often wish on stars that she would one day be a hero, too. One Summer night, while sitting by the lake with her boyfriend Jack, she saw a huge shooting star. She quickly and excitedly wished on it, and then it did a strange thing - it turned and came right for them! They tried to get away, but were knocked to the ground. Selena awoke to find herself in a strange place with a beautiful luminous creature. The being introduced herself as Morianne, and told Selena that she was dying and needed a host body to help her survive so she could continue to fight for her people. Selena anxiously listened to her story, and agreed to the meld. When Selena awoke a second time, she was back on the lake side with Jack, and neither of them would ever be the same.
