Alexander Khyln Hartwell was given his name when he was found just inside the sonic barrier teh day it was put up. His rescuers - a wealthy family supporting Emperor Cole, took him in and raised him, knowing that he was different, not human. They believed everyone should be given a chance at life.  As he grew, he was raised to believe in the values of justice, integrity, and honor, and by the time he was 16, he was a PPD cadet.
