Toby Meers was a promising graduate student at Paragon's Prestigious University, studying molecular physics. His thirst for knowledge and understanding, along with his desire to control, led to his being formally expelled from the university after he violated campus policy with a few of his experiments.

Now, after years of tutelage with Doctor Aeon, Gold Storm as he calls himself now, has become a creation of his own making, summoning the elements while using his advanced beam rifle.
