Hello, my name is Dr. Michael Jaecobis. I am a professor of Illusionary Technology Science at Paragon University. I seek answers to why my family was taken from me. 

Many years ago, my family and I attended an arts festival. As we approached our first show, a sign swayed in the breeze. It read "The Magician". The stage was dressed with many large, jeweled mirrors. A man emerged from the back curtain with a long, grey braided beard hanging from his chin. "I need volunteers!", his voice boomed. His eyes locked onto the four of us. He pointed and whispered "You...are perfect!". We gathered on the stage, side by side. Finally the man shouted "Let us begin!". He thrust his hand into the air, bringing forth a bolt that knocked us back. My family was thrown into 3 of the mirrors, trapped in a lifeless void. I was left untouched and alone on the stage.
