The shadows. In ancient times when the shadows were alive, but slowly dying out. One group found a way to cheat their death, by transforming into "shadow constructs".They could walk in the sun, or phase through the smallest of cracks.They tried to conquer the known world but were defeated a group of mages.They fled across the stars themself and found a new home.Now ages later, they are powerful once again.And once again earth is their target.They have sent an advanced agent to establish a foothold for an invasion.Nothing but hatred for us burns in their hearts.
