Character Bio

Penny Sampson was always a precocious child, often wandering far and wide across the countryside near her parent's farm south of Paragon City. One day, exploring a decrepit old house hidden back in the woods, she discovered an old hermit performing an arcane ritual drawing energy from a faerie princess encased in amber, apparently trapped there for centuries. Penny interrupted the ritual, slaying the ancient wizard and freeing the faerie. Realizing her own kind was gone and she was about to die, the faerie transferred her powers to Penny, tasking her with using them to protect and aid all life in need, plant, animal, or human. Penny has devoted her life to that cause, and has come to Paragon City, ostensibly for college, but truly to develop her powers and join the fight against evil.
