Character Bio

Those who embrace corruption wear many faces. Some begin their twisted destiny early, while others fall away from the path of good & become evil. While dark mages resist easy classification, some exceptions do exist....Widderslainte is one of these. The phrase "born bad" fails to fully capture the nature of this villain, but it is workable. Unlike many others who join the forces of Darkness later in life, Widderslainte was born possessing mystical power & a dark soul. It is believed that he may be the reincarnation of some slain dark magus, whatever the truth he was born evil & has grown into an even more dangerous adult. He sacrificed his own family as a teenager, in a ritual to gain favor from an entity he calls the Darkness that Eats all Things. The word widderslainte translates roughly into "counter-life" or "against health". Quite literally, this villain is a disease of the Earth.
