"Anima Sola... It's church Latin for 'lost' or 'lonely' soul... One consigned to Purgatory... Some xenophobe called Solaran that once, before he had a host. A "lost soul"... We took it as our name just to annoy the jerk... There are still an awful lot of "Earth is for Humans"-types in this city that think that anything alien is evil... Well, *WE* think that those small-minded yahoos deserve to be mercilessly mocked until they wise up and pull their monkey heads out of their collective a- 

*coughs* Yeah. But anyway.... For the record, we're just fine, Solaran and I... We've never had any regrets about the bonding thing. We certainly don't think of it as Hell... I mean, sure, it's a little weird sometimes having another voice in your head, but I'm used to him, you know? It would probably seem even weirder now to be stuck in there alone."
