Magic can do some interesting things, but some of them just could never have been expected. Cathrine Harvick knows this better than anyone, perhaps. Both her parents are magic users, so she was around magic from birth. Her parents both helped her learn how to use it before she was even old enough to drive, which may have been a mistake...

Cathrine, or Cat to her friends, wasn't any different emotionally than any other teenage girl, though she was always part of the misfits group at school. She was teased, and had few friends, so naturally she tried to find someone to be friends with. But she made the mistake of using magic to try and find a friend.

She botched the spell, and accidentally summoned a spirit wolf....INSIDE her. The 2 melded together and became Acaelia.
