"When I was a child, I had a fever. My hands felt just like two balloons...."

That childhood fever was long forgotten, part of everyone's childhood past when she worked for Crey. Finally getting her break, she was moved into the division making experimental armors. That's where she discovered the armor didn't have capabilities - well, not for anyone else. The cranial implants worked only for her, amplifying thought and directing it - and sometimes receiving those of others. Such as her boss, and the questions he started to form about her....  She escaped before Crey could turn their full attention to her...
